Israel “Izzy” Englander is the Chairman and CEO of Millennium Management, the investment firm he founded in 1989 with $35 million. Before founding Millennium, Englander worked as a floor broker, trader, and specialist on the American Stock Exchange and owned his own specialist operation. His experience in trading and market structure shaped the multi-strategy platform that Millennium became. Englander earned a BS in Finance from New York University.
