Sir Paul Marshall is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Investment Officer of Marshall Wace, which he established with Ian Wace in 1997. Before founding the firm, Marshall was Head of European Equities at Mercury Asset Management. He has helped develop Marshall Wace into a global alternative investment manager and has been closely involved in the firm's investment process and development of systematic investing technologies. Marshall studied History and Modern Languages at Oxford University and later earned an MBA from INSEAD. He is also Chairman and CIO of Marshall Wace and a trustee of Ark.
